The disgruntled members of the Reggae Girls World Cup Squad have now been paid all outstanding monies that were owed.

This according to a release issued earlier today, by local governing body the Jamaica Football Federation.

It stems from a standoff, between the federation and the players, who made themselves unavailable for selection, for the CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup Qualifiers against Panama and Guatemala, until they were paid the full 20 percent of the US $1.8 million, that was given to the JFF by Fifa, as part of its new initiative, to reward countries, who participated at the 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The JFF says efforts will now be made to pay the remaining players who took part in qualifying but were not part of the final World Cup squad.
