The St. Thomas police have identified a person of interest in the abduction of a nine year old girl in the Bath community on Thursday evening.
Searches have been underway since a high alert was activated for Phylisa Prussia of Bottom Yard District, Bath.
The little girl who was abducted from her home, is of brown complexion, slim build and about 137 centimetres or 4 feet 6 inches tall.
Reports from the Bath police are that about 7:10 p.m., Phylisa was last seen at home wearing a white blouse and a pair of blue shorts. She has not been heard from since.
Head of the St Thomas police superintendent Alison Byfield says CCTV footage shows the girl in the company of a man .
She says the man from Portland, was reporting to the Bath police as part of bail conditions.
