SHOTTAS’ STAR LOUIE RANKIN PASSES AWAY IN FATAL CAR CRASH

Jamaican actor and Grammy award winning reggae artiste Louie Rankin was killed in a car crash in Ontario Canada yesterday (Mon).

According to the online news website The Sun, details of the accident are not yet available, however, Rankin is thought to have died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Rankin is famous for his role as Teddy Brukshut in the Jamaican movie “Shottas”.

Louie also starred alongside legends Nas and DMX in the 1998 crime drama “Belly” and instantly became a fan favorite for his rugged rude boy style.

He released a single in 1992 called “Typewriter,” which went on to win a Grammy solidifying him in the ranks of the reggae heavy hitters.
