Today is being observed as World Ozone Day 2022 designed by the United Nations General Assembly. This, to raise awareness and to generate action on the environmental issue.
This year’s celebration includes the launching of a National Ozone Unit web-page linked to the National Environment and Planning Agency, NEPA’s Website.
Manager of the National Ozone Unit at NEPA, Vivian Blake tells us more.
He also talks about the strides being made to protect the ozone layer, adding that that collective decisions and action, guided by science, paved the way to solve a major global crisis.
