Reggae girl Deneisha Blackwood has signed with Mexican club Pumas Unam.

Blackwood was a key player for Jamaica to reach the round of 16 of the World Cup, after drawing with France and Brazil, and defeating Panama.

The defender was named player of the match in the duel against France in the reggae girls opening game.

The 26-year-old soccer player has experience in European women’s soccer, after serving in Slavia Prague, a Czech republic first division team, and the Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 , of the second division of France.

Deneisha is already working with the rest of the squad, and she could debut in the women’s MX League in the coming days.

Pumas currently sits in 9th place in the Mexican Liga MX with 14 points 11 behind leaders Uanl on 25 points.
