Rain is the forecast for tonight and tomorrow for some parishes as a weak High Pressure Ridge moves across Jamaica.
The Met office says the High Pressure Ridge is expected to weaken further tonight. A Tropical Wave is expected to move into the vicinity of the island tomorrow.
Thereafter, a Trough becomes the dominant feature for the next few days. Windy conditions are expected to persist, mainly across southern parishes until Wednesday.
Tonight should see lingering showers across northern parishes, and it should be partly cloudy elsewhere.
Tomorrow Morning expect isolated showers across eastern parishes.
In the afternoon, showers and isolated thunderstorms should continue, mainly across central and western parishes. Windy mainly across southern parishes.
