QUEENS OF REGGAE ISLAND HONORARY CEREMONY SET FOR MARCH 24 IN KINGSTON

The Queens Of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremony, will host its seventh event on Sunday at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium in Kingston.

The event will honor 31 women, who have made significant contributions to various sectors including entertainment, journalism, culinary arts, fashion, and corporate fields.

Among the distinguished honorees is educator Alma Mock Yen, who has excelled in arts and journalism for over six decades, and dancehall sensation Tifa.

Other notable awardees include Sharon Marley, Sister Carol, Patra, Macka Diamond, D’Angel, Mary Isaacs, broadcaster Suzie Q, and actress Audrey Reid.

Last year’s inductees featured Althea Laing, a model who graced the cover of Essence magazine, and Bridgett Anderson, known for managing artists such as Garnet Silk and Samory I.
