After weeks of speculation and rumours relating to the whereabouts of Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, fans and well-wishers now have an explanation for her media isolation.
Kensington Palace announced earlier today that she has cancer.
Rumours relating to her media disappearance ranged from a royal divorce to Wiliam cheating on Kate.
In her first address to the public since the start of the year, the princess revealed that her medical team discovered cancerous cells during an operation and that she has been undergoing chemotherapy.

Princess then asked for privacy for her family. Social media has poured out their support for her journey towards recovery.
This is the second cancer diagnosis for the Royal Family in recent months. King Charles is also diagnosed with cancer.
According to reports, King Charles is “so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did.”
Kensington Palace is not expected to reveal any further medical details, such as the type of cancer or what stage it is.
