Dancehall Star Popcaan has earned his first platinum certification in Canada.
This, following the success of his collaborative project, I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times) with rapper Young Thug.
The single was produced by English producer Jamie xx. The single shifted over 80,000 units in Canada following its release in 2015. The track was already certified gold in the United States after amassing sales of over 500,000.
I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times) is the third single from Jamie xx’s debut studio album, In Colour.
Over on Youtube, ‘Good Times’ garnered 21 million views so far.
