The opposition People’s National Party has indicated its willingness to offer legal assistance, to teachers and other public sector groups, who are having issues with their wages.

This, amidst nationwide protests by teachers, who have been registering their discontent with the government’s wage offer, under the new compensation scheme.

Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, opposition spokesperson on education, Damion Crawford lamented, that the country is being bullied by the government with half truths and baseless accusations that have become key indicators of negotiations being held without good faith.

Mr Crawford said the party is willing to commit to offering legal assistance to public sector workers, if there are difficulties regarding the wage negotiations.
