After weeks of speculation, confirmation has finally come, that the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, is in Jamaica.
The revelation was made by Prime Minister Andrew Holness, while addressing the lower house on Tuesday. (January 25 2022)
Mr. Holness said test results from a batch of 43 samples sent to the lab at the University Hospital of the West Indies, returned 40 positives.
