Ninja Man Calls on Authorities for Prison Rehab

Incarcerated Dancehall Veteran Ninja Man is calling for a reform of the prison system.

The entertainer who’s currently serving a 25-year prison sentence has tagged heads of government in his near 9-minute long audio, which calls for the rehabilitation of inmates who will at some point return to the general populace.

He urged the authorities to create a system that will nurture the talent of the inmates, adding that within the prisons there are numerous tradesmen and unused skills that are going to waste.

He said he’s willing to spearhead the initiatives that will later, improve the lives of the inmates.

He also calls for various classes to be implemented to improve the skill sets of the prisoners.

He also highlights the lack of medical attention being given to prisoners who have spent decades in prison and is asking for the various human rights groups to step in.

Ninja Man, in 2017, was sentenced to 25 years in prison before he is eligible to be released on parole. This in relation to the 2009 murder of Ricardo ‘Ricky Trooper’ Johnson.
