Last Evening (Sunday) saw a blend of music, Art, Food and Culture taking centre stage at New Wave Block Party held at the Summit in Kingston.
The event is a partnership between “Very Culture” and “New Wave”, celebrating the cultural pillars that Jamaica is known and loved for the world over.
Very Culture’s Founder and Director of New Wave, Yannick Reid tells us more.
He stresses the importance of preserving Jamaica’s culture through their initiatives.
Meantime, reggae Artiste, Ras I, known for his hit, “Somewhere Wonderful” hailed the organisers of the event, while calling for similar events to be held to help with pushing the culture forward.
