The Met Office says The Ridge is expected to remain across the island through to Tuesday. Thereafter, a Tropical Wave is expected to move into the vicinity of the island by mid week.
Additionally, A Small Craft Warning remains in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.
