Blanket Bigi Jackson, son of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, has filed legal documents to prevent his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, from using estate funds to cover her legal expenses.

The dispute arose over Katherine’s desire to appeal a court ruling they previously contested.

This ruling likely concerns a significant transaction related to Michael Jackson’s catalog, speculated to involve Sony Music.

Despite their joint opposition to the undisclosed transaction, the court ruled against them.

While Katherine seeks to appeal, Blanket believes it would be futile and financially burdensome for the estate.

However, he acknowledges her entitlement to legal fees from the initial legal battle. It’s noted that Katherine receives a substantial annual allowance from the estate, including funds for legal expenses and home renovations.
