Massive $222m Fraud at INSPORTS

Three former employees of the Institute of Sports, INSPORTS, are now in custody after they were arrested in connection with a massive $222m fraud committed in 2011 & 2017. The arrests, made yesterday were done by the Major Organised Crime and Anti-corruption agency, MOCA.

Those in custody are popular party promoter Andrew Wright and co-conspirators Rudolph Barnes and Oneil Hope.

All three are alleged to have been part of a team of former INSPORTS employees who wrote, signed and en-cashed fraudulent cheques for employees who were neither employees nor contracted workers at INSPORTS.

They were charged with various offences including conspiracy to defraud, acquisition, use and possession of criminal property, engaging in transactions involving criminal property and larceny as a servant.
