A man has been charged after being found in possession of a gun during a church service in St. Ann.
26 year-old labourer, Alex Brown, of Garden Tenant Road in St. Ann, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Police reports are that on September 20 approximately 3:20pm, Mr. Brown was a member of the congregation when the police visited the church.
During a search, a homemade firearm containing a 12-gauge cartridge was reportedly taken from a bag he was carrying.
