Reggae boy Leon Bailey set to become one of their highest earners at English Premier League club Aston villa as contract talks are set to open between both parties.
His wage is set to become closer to that of Argentine world cup winning goalkeeper Emi Martinez, Tyrone Mings and Ollie Watkins.
The Jamaican was among those Villa were willing to let go last summer but he has developed into a key player, scoring six goals and providing five assists to help Unai Emery’s men into second, three points behind leaders Liverpool.
Bailey joined Villa in 2021 for about 25 million pounds.
