Lee “Scratch” Perry’s ‘Rainford’ album debuted in the number 2 position on the Billboard Reggae albums chart.

The 82-year-old released the album on May 31.

9 brand new tracks were recorded with Perry’s longtime friend and collaborator UK dub heavyweight Adrian Sherwood, in Jamaica, Brazil and London.

Meanwhile, ‘Shapes Of A Soul’ by Nashville reggae-rock band Roots Of A Rebellion, debuted in pole position.

Elsewhere on the charts this week, Collie Budz’ ‘Hybrid’ project which debuted at number one last week, dropped to 6th place.

Meanwhile, after spending 11 weeks on the charts, Koffee’s Rapture EP remains at number 3 since last week.

Sting and Shaggy’s 44/876 is at number 8, in its 58th week.
