Controversial You-Tuber Kevin Samuels’s untimely passing has left social media in shock.
His mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, confirmed his passing to NBC News, however, in the statement, she said that she wasn’t even aware of his passing and learned that he died on social media. “That was a terrible thing for social media to put that out. I didn’t even know. I hadn’t even been notified. All I’m doing is requesting that people pray for us.” she said.
Samuels, who described himself as an image consultant, went viral several times for giving advice to fans. He shared YouTube videos to his 1.4 million subscribers, discussing topics that included dating and relationships. Often times his comments rubbed people the wrong way and he made many enemies as well as fans.
Lets just say social media had a lot to say about him, one person wrote, “All Kevin Samuels did was tell broke men and overweight women to be realistic and y’all out here acting like he was Scar from the Lion King”. Another person wrote, “Regardless of if this Kevin Samuels news is true or not, you gotta be evil to cheer for someone’s death because you don’t like some of the things they’ve said”.
