Justice Minister Delroy Chuck says dysfunctional families are a main contributor to crime and violence in Jamaica.
Speaking at yesterday’s (December 17) handing-over ceremony of the newly renovated Manchester Family Court in Mandeville, Minister Chuck said parents should play important roles in their children’s lives.
He implored fathers to be involved in their children’s development.
Mr. Chuck noted that neglect can lead children into the hands of abusers.
