Stakeholders show support for the continuing efforts of the Carnival in Jamaica brand

Tourism Minister, Ed Bartlett says marketing Carnival in Jamaica as a tourism product has been fruitful.

He was speaking with the Zee last evening at the launch of Carnival in Jamaica, held at the AC Hotel in Kingston. All participating carnival bands were in attendance.

These include Xodus, Xayamca, Bacchanal, Frenchmen, Ocho Rios, and Downtown Carnival.

The Minister says the aim is to make the product, one of the largest and best entertainment package in the region.

Meanwhile, Co-Director of Bacchanal Band, Michael Ammar the third, says he’s happy that both the Tourism and the Entertainment Ministries have realised the earning potential of the product.

And Director of Xodus Band, Scott Dunn speaks to the growth and the unified approach by the Ministries.
