The Jamaica Football Federation has stated its disgust after national player Trudi Carter was the subject of racial abuse on Instagram after she played so well to ensure that Jamaica qualified for successive FIFA Women’s World Cups.
In a statement the JFF said there is no place for racism, discrimination, or abuse within or outside the game of football.
The Federation says it stands in full support of our players and will do all possible to ensure their protection and wellbeing. Concacaf is aware of the abuse.
