Jamaica records 140 new Covid-19 cases

Jamaica has recorded 140 new Covid-19 cases. They are 96 females and 44 males, ranging in age from 4 months to 92 years.

The positivity rate is 20 per cent.

Two additional Covid-19 related deaths have also been recorded. They occurred in January and this month.

The deceased are two men ages 62 and 82 from Westmoreland and Kingston and St. Andrew, respectively.

92 people are hospitalised with the virus. There have been 98 more recoveries.
