In Conversation with Rising Reggae artiste Royal Blu

Rising Reggae artiste, Royal Blu is a nominee in the impact award category of the Caribbean Music Awards.

In an interview with the Z, Blu talks about being a Spanish Town native and how his next full-length project is influenced by his experiences growing up in the old capital.

Meantime, Blu speaks about the lack of mentorship in the Jamaican music industry, noting that he’d want Stephen Marley to be his mentor.

Royal Blu also spoke about his ambitions as an up-and-coming artiste.

Royal Blu’s latest track ‘Girlstown’ with DJ Stamma and Runkus celebrates women from all across Jamaica.

Blu will be joining fellow Reggae artiste, Runkus on tour in Maine and Vermont in August.
