The Super Bowl 56 halftime show was a star-studded event, featuring plenty of well-known musicians.

Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent, rocked the stage at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California midway through the big game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. The men were joined by the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself, Mary J. Blige.

There were a few memorable moments during the halftime concert. Eminem took a knee after performing his hit “Lose Yourself.” The kneeling gesture became a subject of controversy when former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick used it as an act of protest against police brutality and racial discrimination.

Even though the halftime show had notable musicians, the set design emerged the unexpected star of the night. The stage highlighted several iconic South LA locations

This year’s halftime show focused heavily on Hip Hop and famed artiste and producer, Dr.Dre. All four of the other artists have collaborated with Dre, with three of the performers all showing up on Dre’s album “2001.”
