Dancehall artiste, Robert Lee Malcolm, popularly known as Gully Bop has passed.

The “Who She Want” artiste reportedly passed away yesterday (October 30th) at the Kingston Public Hospital.

It is rumoured that the 56-year-old had been suffering from a series of illnesses for the past three years.

Gully Bop rose to fame in 2014, after videos surfaced of him freestyling.

At the time, he was homeless; however, he quickly rose to fame. He was taken up by Shauna Chin, which caused a bit of stir.

Following their breakup, he pursued a relationship with aspiring musician Amari.

As his career continued, it was rumoured that the “My God Dem Nuh Bad Like Me” singer fell on hard times and began struggling with health and financial issues.

Amari posted several videos on her Instagram account in which she referred to him as the only man she had ever loved and expressed her sorrow at his passing.
