Friday saw the swearing-in of attorney Dickon Mitchell as Grenada’s ninth prime minister. He made a commitment to abolish nepotism, change the electoral process, and advance the interests of the three-island nation.
44 year old Mitchell took the oath of office in front of Governor General Dame Cecile La Grenade after leading the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to a 9-6 win in the general election on Thursday.
