G Herbo pleads guilty to wire fraud and identity theft

Herbert Randall Wright, the Chicago rapper who goes by the name G Herbo, has pled guilty to aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. 

According to reports, he and five associates used stolen identities to pay for items including private jet excursions, car rentals, a trip to a villa in Jamaica, and “designer puppies.” These fraudulent payments are said to be up to 1.5 million USD. The case was charged in Massachusetts as one of the private airline owners is based in the state.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Wright will pay $140,000 in restitution to a variety of alleged victims, including $10,458 to Woof Woof Puppies.

Just recently the artiste spent a short time behind bars for possession of a firearm after the police pulled him over for failing to display a traffic signal while driving. He was later released on bond.
