Police are reporting that four children and a woman, were found with their throats slashed, in Chapleton Clarendon this morning (Tues).
Head of the Clarendon Police Superintendent Glenford Miller, said the incident took place sometime between late last night and early this morning.
Three girls and one boy, are among the victims.
He said the woman appears to be the mother of the children.
SSP Miller described the act as barbaric and is pleading with residents to come forward if they have any information on the incident.
He noted that police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson, is to visit the community later today.
