Finance Minster Dr. Nigel Clarke has asked Prime Minister Andrew Holness to make haste in reopening the Entertainment Sector.
Speaking during the opening of the Budget Debate this afternoon, Dr Clarke lamented that it was time for persons to get back to earning from the sector.
The Prime Minister recently stated that the Ministry of Health and Wellness is working on a proposals on how to reopen the entertainment sector safely.
His comment followed a sharp decline in the number of Coronavirus cases in the country.
Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie says his ministry is also involved in the process.
Dr Clarke’s statements this afternoon, was met with appreciation from members of the sector and social media users.
