VertiCast Media Group has secured the broadcast rights to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for the Caribbean.
According to a release, the award of the rights to VertiCast is on a multi-platform basis that includes rights across television, digital and radio as well as on a multi-market basis for 22 markets across the region.
It says the landmark award of broadcast rights means that regional football fans will have access to all FIFA World Cup matches through VertiCast and its partners across TV, cable, radio, mobile apps and online platforms.
The FIFA World Cup is the most prestigious football tournament in the world, as well as the most widely viewed and followed single sporting event.
