Double Olympic sprint Champion, Elaine Thompson- Herah has added Commonwealth Champion to her CV after her golden run in the 100 m final gives Jamaica first gold in Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
The multiple Olympic Champion clocked a time of 10.95 seconds.
St Lucia’s Julien Alfred was second in 11.01 seconds and England’s Daryll Neita third in 11.07 seconds.
Jamaica’s Natalliah Whyte finished eighth in 11.32 seconds.
