DJ Khaled returns to Jamaica, ahead of Buju Banton’s concert

International Producer DJ Khaled has arrived on the island this afternoon.

This, ahead of Buju Banton’s Long Walk To Freedom Concert, slated for March 16 at the National Stadium in Kingston.

The concert marks his first in Jamaica since his release from prison.

Upon Buju’s release, Khaled met up with the reggae star and expressed his love and appreciation for his music and the Jamaican culture.

Khaled is also expected to release his new album, ‘Father of Asahd’ in May. It’s speculated that a number of collaborations with local stars will be featured on the project.

Meanwhile, Buju’s Long Walk To Freedom Tour concert series will see Buju Banton travel to other Caribbean islands making stops in Barbados, Trinidad, Grenada, St. Kitts, and the Bahamas.

The Gargamel’s son Jahziel, Chronixx, Coco Tea, Agent Sasco, Romain Virgo, and Etana are among the supporting acts confirmed for the Jamaican leg of Buju Banton’s Long Walk to Freedom Tour.
