Chief Justice Bryan Sykes says discussions will take place with the Justice Ministry regarding the construction of a new court building in Brown’s Town St. Ann
The two story structure was gutted by fire last evening (February 13).
The Chief Justice visited the scene this morning (February 14) and spoke with reporters about the fire and plans to continue the services offered at the court in Brown’s Town.
Court was held today at the Addison Park Sports Complex.
Chief Justice Sykes says the process has begun to replace important files that were lost in the fire.
He adds that while the fire disrupted the court’s operations, preparations are being made to address the issues.
