At least two recording artiste have financially donated to the Sunshine Girls as they departed for the Netball World Cup
Ding Dong and Teejay opened up their wallets as Netball Jamaica feted the girls at a sending off party.
Teejay donated $500, 000 while Ding Ding handed over an undetermined sum at the event.
Both entertainers also performed alongside the Girls on stage, with Sport Minister Olivia Grange there to witness it all.
The Sunshine Girls are heading to the Vitality Netball World Cup slated for Cape Town, South Africa from July 28 to August 6, 2023.
