Dancehall artiste Merciless, whose real name is Leonard Bartley was found dead in his motel room on Beechwood Avenue earlier today (July 19).
He was 51.
Speaking to the Zee Kheldon, Merciless’ Road manager based in Canada confirmed the story.
He also said community members from Bartley’s hometown of Chapleton, Clarendon are mourning his death, and urged members of the public to grant members of the artiste’s family some privacy.
A cause of death is yet to be released.
