The Caribbean Climate Outlook Forum (CariCOF), based in Barbados, predicts wetter-than-normal seasonal rainfall from Jamaica to Puerto Rico throughout June to August this year.

The CariCOF’s newest “Caribbean Climate Outlook” warned that the risk of flash flooding will remain high in Guyana.

According to CariCOF, this season will see Saharan dust incursions as well as the potential formation of tropical cyclones.
