The Bounty Foundation, which was launched by Bounty Killa and his manager Bankey has embarked on an outreach to assist international dancehall DJ Tiger, aka Norman Washington Jackson who recently suffered a stroke.
The Bounty Killa Foundation presented a check to the DJ valued at $400,000 to assist with his medical expenses.
Bounty is delighted to assist, where possible, especially to a fellow artist who is facing hard times. He also appealed to anyone who can help to assist. The foundation wishes Tiger a speedy recovery.
Tiger rose to prominence in the late ’80s with a string of hit songs including “No Wanga Gut”; “Puppy Love,” “Mi Lover Mi Lover” and “Me Name Tiger.” He also guested on lovers rock tracks by Anthony Malvo (“Come Back to Me”) and Maxi Priest (“I Know Love”), and in 1990 recorded a song with US hip hop group the Fat Boys.
