Rapper Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, was detained in Paris as cops swarmed his vehicle in the city of love. NBA star James Harden was also stopped but not detained.
Reports are that yesterday plainclothes police stopped Harden, Lil Baby and his bodyguard because a strong smell of cannabis was coming from their car. According to reports, they found 32 grams of cannabis.
Videos surfaced online on Thursday, which showed the rapper sitting in the back of a police car that took him to the local police station.
Lil Baby was in Paris for Fashion Week and was seen attending the Balenciaga show with Harden before their arrest.
Ending on a good note, the rapper was released this morning after being fined for having cannabis in his car, according to Paris’ prosecutor’s office. He later gave his fans some reassurance and posted on Instagram “I’m Good” and said that he was heading back to the U.S.
