The Tourism Ministry says it is ready to accommodate tourists from the United Kingdom, who have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and have been given the go-ahead to travel to amber list countries, including Jamaica.

British media today (July 8) reported that as of July 19, the guidance issued by the United Kingdom that people should not travel to amber list countries, will be removed.

This means, many persons will be flocking to resort destinations.

Senior Strategist in the Tourism Ministry, Delano Seiveright, said the announcement by the UK, is welcomed.
