Jamaica has recorded 6 more Covid-19 deaths, pushing that tally to 996.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 53 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 49, 232.
Of the new cases, 19 are males, 34 females, with ages ranging from 9 months to 103 years.
St. Ann had the highest number of cases with 12, followed by St. Catherine with 9 and Kingston and St. Andrew, Manchester and St. James 5 each.
164 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 27, 365.
There are 20, 499 active cases.
