Dr. Dre is still in intensive care, a week after being rushed to hospital with a brain aneurysm.
According to TMZ, doctors at LA’s Cedars Sinai Medical center in LA continue to do a number of tests to get to the root of the problem.
TMZ also reports that doctors want to keep him in ICU just in case he suffers another aneurysm.
Sources close to Dre have reported that he is “resting comfortably” and doctors have cautiously informed his family that a “bad outcome” is unlikely.
Dre had released a statement last week to his fans saying, “Thanks to my family,
friends and fans for their interest and well wishes, I’m doing great and getting
excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home
soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
