Dancehall artiste Popcaan and Nigerian singer and producer Davido have teamed up for a new single titled ‘Risky’.
The recently released track is from Davido’s forthcoming album ‘A Good Time’, set to be released on November 22 via RCA Records.
The new single sees Davido, known for Afrobeat hits including ‘If’ and ‘Fall’, connecting on a sound that is being described as Afrofusion-meets-dancehall.
‘Risky’ was produced by beat maker Spe-roach Beatz.
This is not the first time Popcaan is teaming with an international artiste.
‘Chargie’, the 2017 hit, saw the ‘Unruly Boss’ teaming with Canadian rapper Drake. This track is referenced in this new duet with Davido.
Popcaan has also worked with Jamie xx, Pusha T, Giggs, Matoma, Wale, and Gorillaz.
The track comes accompanied by a music video shot in London.
