The Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau IPROB, says it has commenced investigations into an incident that was detailed on social media.
The incident relates to allegations of abuse by the police, on Wednesday in the Red Hills Road area of St Andrew.
In a press release, the police Communications Unit says investigators have already reached out to the complainant and are urging other witnesses to contact the bureau via WhatsApp at 876-838-3084 or email via [email protected].
Constabulary Force has sought to reiterate that it is a professional organization, that expects the highest standard from all its officers in all situations.
This is the second incident of alleged abuse by the police in the corporate area, in recent times.
