An attempt will be made today (Thurs) to find solutions to the nation’s crime problem.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips, are to sit across from each other in what is being touted as a crime summit.

The aim is forge a national consensus on the crime fighting plan.

The meeting follows initial talks between the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader on October 3, on the matter of the nation’s security.

It also follows months of lobbying by the Opposition for government to meet and come up with strategies to fight crime.
