Jamaica has recorded 5 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1,777.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 537 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 79, 127.
Of the new cases, 216 are males, 321 females, with ages ranging from 6 days to 90 years.
St. Catherine had the highest number of cases with 126, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 107.
146 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 50, 641.
There are 26, 178 active cases.
