Chief Executive Officer of the Bellevue Hospital in Kingston, Marcia Mullings-Thompson, has confirmed that three of the patients who tested positive for Covid last week have died.
The first Covid case at the facility was detected at the end of last month and approximately 39 patients and staff tested positive.
Giving an update, Mrs. Mullings-Thompson noted that several patients remain in isolation and most are doing well.
She explained that the patients who died were elderly and had underlying conditions.
