At least three people have been left homeless, after fire engulfed their homes in Portmore St. Catherine, this morning (August 2).
The houses were reportedly firebombed.
Public Relations Officer at the Jamaica Fire Brigade, Emelio Ebanks said firefighters received calls about the first fire, shortly after 6 am.
He said firefighters were alerted to the second fire, shortly before 7am.
Meantime, Head of the St. Catherine South Police Division, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips said the incidents appear to have been fuelled by inter gang conflict.
