Valiant wins MOBO Awards

Dancehall artiste Valiant is the winner of a Music of Black Origin (MOBO) award.

This is the first international award for the “Mad Out” singer, who took home the award for “The Best Caribbean Music Act.”.

This category is new and replaces the Best Reggae Act category.

MOBO made the announcement yesterday (February 7), ahead of the show later in the day.

The “Love Problem” artiste posted on his Instagram, thanking fans while stating that his musical journey has not been the easiest. He encouraged others to believe in themselves as well.

Valiant was declared the winner ahead of fellow nominees Popcaan and Shenseea, Byron Messia, reggae artiste Kabaka Pyramid, and Trinidadian Soca artiste Destra Garcia.
